Lumaglass™ at Studio 5-11

"ADG moved into their newly refurbished Plymouth offices, Studio 5-11, earlier this year. As we were designing our own space, and had a blank canvas to work from, we wanted to create a real 'wow factor' to the reception and conference room areas whilst providing borrowed light through to the circulation zone.
The Lumaglass system was the only economic and robust solution for creating the curved, illuminated glass wall that we envisaged. The full height, sandblasted, low iron glass channels with white light create a screen with sophisticated drama when viewed from either side and its double glazed arrangement provides a good degree of acoustic separation for conference room meetings.

This project incorporates the first installation of Lumaglass' new
aesthetic finish using low iron profiled glass, installed between
the reception area and conference room, its remit was to segregate
one from the other.
The partition fits perfectly to the architect's vision of an organically shaped structure formed by soft flowing curves and free from any regimental lines or sharp garish structural angles.
This frame combined with the striking white electroluminescent light and low iron glass creates a clean ethereal effect and a naturally formed appearance synonymous to the design flexibility of the Lumaglass system.
